All newbies here need to keep in mind something I was just reminded about again today in a separate convo: the Mastodon Fediverse thrives on follows/boosts, it’s how the separate instances make connections so individual users can peel the complex onion of interrelationships between all the separate nodes.

In other words: there is A LOT you cannot see when you get started and those follows/boosts help reveal it, slowly but surely… #AlgorithmFreeLifestyle
