olgaTomorrow I’ll be attending my first international conference, where I’ll be giving a talk on the embodiment of code. Naturally, as a beginner in live coding, I feel stressed and I definitely have impostor syndrome. But another part of me doesn’t care. What I love about algorave is that it evokes an Art of Failure and Glitch. I’m choosing to believe that being imperfect is beautiful, and that it can help us push back against patriarchy and neoliberalism. ✊

Switch Angel's wheelhouse is #algorave, and this early album as Jade Rose is really good.
Marika Hackman, surprisingly, is the spouse of Polly Mackey, the leader of the band Art School Girlfriend. I imagine the music coming out of their flat is amazing.
