Akharhynchus martilli is a new #ornithocheirid #pterosaur from the mid #Cretaceous of #Morocco!
The #holotype is literally just the tip of a jaw, but there were enough features that warranted a new genus and species. The authors were even able to show that it was closely related to the famous #Tropeognathus!
