Prestige Cap (Laket mishiing), 20thC, from the Kuba peoples from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sankuru River region. Created from raffia palm fibre, cotton, rocaille glass beads, hide, cowrie shells, the cap measures 29.5 x 21 x 20.6 cm.
