@lamp @wanderinglens it also makes the numbers more appealing cuz if #twitter does #purges all #InactiveAccounts after 30 days, they make better numbers, increasing activity for #AdFarming #Spambots and other value-removing assholes.

@trisschen most #AdFarming is done with shitty #Clickbait sites that look legit at first sight but are just copy & paste bs, so in case any of the advertising platforms get sussy, their underpaid mods would just see a site that seems legit for the few secs they spend on it at most.

@[email protected] "low-quality" "shovelvideos" are kinda like "shovelware games" aka. Unity asset flips: They are dirt-cheap to make and can easily ROI themselves via advertising.

Not to mention that #AdFarming and #ClickFarming exist as business models, thus it's a working way to launder money.
