2WaterGunsI kind of knew going into this, hence why the language's name is written out "acute-e" in a lot of source code contexts (and it's easier to search) but there's not really a way around including an accented e when using Pokémon battle dialog as an inspiration unless you're willing to sacrifice accuracy.
(Also looks like Mastodon doesn't like a hyphen in a hashtag like #acute-e ... great.)
It is 2025 and using Microsoft's code editor to create a console app for Microsoft's OS with Microsoft's programming language and framework to run on Microsoft's PowerShell does NOT lead to a program that can redirect stdout / stderr to a file without garbling an accented Latin character. You have to enable a "beta" feature in the OS and reboot first.
