In court documents, the Quebec Federation of Maple Syrup Producers alleges Steve Bourdeau, the producer linked to fake maple syrup, is trying to unload cans of his syrup that have been returned to him by grocery stores and suppliers. The federation wants Bourdeau's operation shut down and his syrup seized.
Another brand hit with the fake maple syrup scandal: l’Érabeille. The cans came from the same producer, but different distributor.
The company is recalling the products from grocery stores.

Fake maple syrup plot thickens: Cans found with label hiding name of implicated company | CBC News
Since Radio-Canada first broke the story last week of fake maple syrup found on grocery store shelves, consumers have since found cans of syrup in stores from the same producer with a sticker hiding the company’s name.
The bogus maple syrup 🍁 was also sold under the “le sirop Angela” brand.
It was removed from shelves by Sobeys’ IGA.
