Listening to #AXIES2023 keynote and agree, @educause's TopTen IT Issues represent what's on #HigherEd #EdTech leader's minds.
While I'm hearing explanations of these issues, their potencial impact on communities, and examples of how campuses are responding (new programs, new technologies), I don't hear recomendations for approaches, solutions, outcomes, etc. to address these issues.
Are there evaluations for the approaches taken, and results achieved, for previous year's Top Ten Issues?

Day 2 at #AXIES2023's University ICT Promotion Council Annual Conference.
I have to say, my favorite thing from yesterday was a poster presentation from Kyoto University showing the dramatic increase in online courses when the COVID pandemic hit; more than a 500% increase.
While this increase might be expected as faculty, & students adapted to a closed campus, what is most interesting, is these rates for online classes contuned after in-person courses resumed.

The last line should be the first in this presentation at #AXIES2023 for #HigherEd working with / developing #HPC.
Sadly I fear the vendor lock-in, bait and switch will be forgotten as campuses line up for #AI or the next, next big thing.
This could also say, "Developing Your Open Source Strategy."
The slide questioned where, and how, campuses see the value of implementation. .
Interesting introduction by Susan Grajek of @educause, to #HigherEd's attitude on #GenerativeAI: those that have ised it are less fearful of its impact on education, threat to their work, or consequences to #HigherEducation.
Those using it actually feel more optimistic.
Although all agree it's too early to tell or even identify issues.
Front-row seat, and patiently waiting for, @educause's Susan Grajek, VP of Partnerships, Communities, and Research at #AXIES2023.
