Not for the eye joy, but this was a test shot anyway. Back in 2024 I did a little project depicting a lonely knight, focusing on the long shadow and intentionally in B&W. As you can see here, the highlights were blown out and it took me several trials to get into that "Duh!" moment - Yes, "duh" and not "uh-ha" because any reasonable brain would suggest blocking the light from 2 directions to make a single beam of light; and I simply didn't think of it in the first place 🤷🏻‍♂️

[5805] - 2024.

Another one from the "my heart" series back in 2024 and this time with screws. This image might look shaky (and it is) but probably not for the reasons that anyone would think of; the camera was stable on a tripod. This is one of the test shots where I've used a sound trigger connected to the flash directly. As I knocked the desk from below to move the screws, the flash would keep firing with every sound afterward BESIDE the initial flash and thus resulting in several frames into one image (the work was done in a dark room and relatively long exposure, like 30 seconds or so). Thus, I had to toss this system away and use my old methods back then.
