To all my dear fellow impostors: You got this!
(Even if you procrastinate so hard on making stickers that they arrive 3 hours after your plane leaves because they'll be rubbish anyway and who are you to think anyone will even want your silly doodles?!)

Welp, that's another Agile on the Beach done. It was my third time attending this year, first time speaking for more than a lightning talk. Met some amazing people and it was nice to finally go on the retro boat party where I then proceeded to meet more people as well for the first time.

I'm so glad that I submitted my talk because since I did it yesterday, I have heard so many people say that they found it useful. People finding it useful is what I wanted it to achieve.

Last night’s #aotb2023 party was fun, on the beautiful beach, with sea shanty singers!

Well, I've done it! I've spoken for a full conference talk. I managed to convince a surprising number of people to listen to me talking about writing and communication for 45 minutes, at a conference dedicated to Agile. I'm amazed by how many people did come to my talk. But apparently I had something worth saying.

(Thanks to @jordanthecoder for the photos 😁)

Can't wait to unlearn a few bad writing habits with @emkingma at #AotB2023

Hi friends! I did a talk. In person. (yes, partying like it's 2019!)

It was a new topic for me, about the ethics of influence, specifically looking at the methods we use to promote change within our technology orgs.

Hit me up if you're interested in this subject :-) #AOTB2023 #agileonthebeach

Changing minds: you can, but should you? Elizabeth Ayer Agile on the Beach, 2023 Elizabeth Ayer (she/her) Seattle, USA & Cambridge, UK Private sector & Public...

Hmmm, Midjourney's output for Agile on the Beach looks a tad dystopian πŸ˜†

I'll be talking later this after at 3pm about Unlearning How To Write as part of the team working track.

@lisacrispin Please do come and say hello during the conference, and please do have fun. #AOTB2023 is an incredible, interesting conference! And I am really looking forward to your keynote this year (I trust there are donkeys?)

Just noticed hashtags are case sensitive here?
