I've decided to fight back against the auto-boost hashtag #bots by using a shit-ton of #hashtags in all of my toots. #AIisWasteful #NoAI

This is actually ingenious. I'd love to see an equivalent to combat text-based generative models.

The tool, called Nightshade, messes up training data in ways that could cause serious damage to image-generating AI models.
