A slightly niche music question regard to the song The Crowning by A Camp, released in Colonia 2009.
I vaguely remember Nina Persson specifically stated it's about a specific European king in 1600s(?), who failed to recognise the implication of severe inequality, publicly lived a highly lavish lifestyle, and blightly built more hatred. The song stopped at the extravagant crowning, not mentioning that moments later his kingdom fell to peasant uprising. It's an interesting relisten in the context of, well.
Now I know this sounds vaguely like the French revolution, but I remembered it being about an event that I wasn't aware of. Anyone still have a link to that interview? Or maybe confirm which specific royal the song was about?
