Recovering The Satellites
2025 U.S. 2xLP Remastered reissue

My love & adoration for August And Everything After is well documented. That album is incredible, & truly one of my favorite albums of that decade. And yes, I’m serious.

I remember when i first heard “Angels Of The Silences” ahead of Recovering The Satellites’ release and thinking “Whoah. That’s kind of kickass, but very different.”

Despite the different approach to production, there’s a BUNCH of incredible songs on here, & a lot of them would have nestled inside August very nicely.

Along with the album’s lead single, “Daylight Fading” is GREAT, as is “Another Horsedreamer's Blues”,“I’m Not Sleeping” and “Children In Bloom”.

Now, that being said, I’d be fine if I never heard “A Long December” again as long as I live.

I find it annoying in the same way I find “Hey Jude” annoying.
