Erste Vorveranstaltungen sind am Freitag angelaufen, ab Montag beginnt in der äthiopischen Hauptstadt #AddisAbeba der offizielle Teil des zweiten Afrikanischen #Klimagipfels (#ACS2). Bei der gemeinsam mit der Afrikanischen Union veranstalteten und hochkarätig besetzten mehrtägigen #Klimakonferenz will die äthiopische Regierung ein Zeichen setzen. Es handle sich um „kein symbolisches Treffen“, erklärtes Ziel sei es vielmehr, #Afrika als Vorreiter im Kampf gegen die Klimakrise zu positionieren.
