Last weekend, I spied on the Moduland "Cat Council," which they hate that I call them that, and they were doing some kind of strange, summoning ritual with a golden lucky cat in the center of a room.

Now Flora left the island and a new cat villager, Kiki, has arrived. I mean, Kiki is adorable and seems like a lot of fun, but I feel like one thing may have to do with the other.

I am keeping an eye out on these cats...

Definitely.

Immediately after Flora said she was into anime, I had this idea for an anime convention and ran with it. I may do more scenes from it. It's just too fun!

A few recent conversations I had with some of my villagers on Moduland. First, Flora fully admits she's an otaku. I fully expect to see her in cosplay at the Moduland Anime Convention (note to self: an anime convention could be a really fun build).

Second, I met with Judy. She was so cute and so excited about her news of fashion pics of her being published...in her hometown.

Yesterday I found Flora walking around near Muffy's house. In the rain.

She...did not quite love Muffy's aesthetic.

Soon after getting over there, she began to rethink everything. She became slumped over and nervous.

Muffy and Flora are normally very friendly, but the dark, spooky vibes of Muffy's yard are very different from the aggressively pink yard Flora keeps for herself.

I was able to give Flora some comfort about it, even if the displayed body in the background gave her the creeps.

Lately I've been getting some, shall we say...interesting letters from some of my islanders.

Flora sent me one about her...motion sickness issues she gets. Then Stitches sent me a very interesting note about the number of letters in the English language.

Getting villager photos NEVER gets old to me.

Especially when it's from villagers you have never gotten them from.

Our two newest citizens on Moduland, Gloria and Flora, have finally given me their photos. So excited to put hem on display in my living room alongside the photos of all of my current villagers.

TFW you have been spending a bunch of time on your silly storyline with gnomes, liminal spaces, or Music Monday posts and have failed to set up a cute front yard for Flora yet.

No wonder they all want to replace me as Resident Representative.

This area was the Santa photo area around Christmas and last summer was a faux pool. I am trying to come up with something different for Flora.

Flora is too new to know about the change to the southeastern corner of Moduland. She wasn't here when it was a sunny, adorable area for campers and had no clue about the post-apocalyptic hellscape it has become!

Luckily, I found her and was able to explain the dangers. She was fine, for now. Hopefully we can find a way to make this area safer in the future.
