I didn't realize these acquisitions had been taking place over 2025... and that Magix had filed for insolvency not too long beforehand and was owned by RM Equity Partners. Interesting stuff.

I noticed this in my inbox today (delivered on March 30). I've been using Audacity a lot lately, but I still have a copy of Sound Forge installed. I've been using Sound Forge for years, even when it was still a Sonic Foundry product. I have a bunch of BorisFX effects plugins too. If you're into music production, Sequoia is a great DAW to check out 🎶 BorisFX has really expanded 👀
@anjune appreciate your creative efforts, I Felt Nothing immediately stood out to me. Thank you for shouting out to #renoise as I'm looking for a musical creative tool to begin my journey with. Years gone by I've diddled with #ejay #acidpro and #rytmik to express myself.

I used to work magic with Sony #ACIDpro back in the day. haha. did they stop making it before you were probably born?

100% sample based using Sony #AcidPro Studio, trying to making it sound like live and "organic" Jazz/R&B - approx 2008.
I still really like the result - even if - as I recall - it really was thrown together in just a few late night hours. The inspiration came from that nice horn section sample set.
