Base has been painted black, work on the wings is complete, final clear coat has been applied to the main body and the retracted landing gear has been glued into place. Some more weathering done on the Ornithopter. Paint has been scraped along edges to expose the steel layer of paint underneath. Started weathering the parts with a British Khaki wash. The wings, landing gear and weapons will be weathered darker than the main body. I painted the #Ornithopter black, then painted it Steel. The plan is to paint the main colour on top of this, then gently scrape and sand areas to let the steel underneath come through to weather it.
