Some demo parties are different from others.
Testing my code on a real X68000 at #68kinside motivated me to finally look into how to get mine running. By looking at these boards, I think my soldering skills are good enough to patch up a replacement PSU, but definitely not up to do the surface-mounted magic on the RAM board. And an otherwise working X68000 (thanks @spook!) is definitely not a machine to experiment on. We'll see.
I just ordered all the parts for the PSU. Should be here sometime next week.
The QSound arrived too late for #68kinside, but just in time to enjoy some new QL demoscene stuff.
This is a remake/clone card, the design is available on GitHub: https://github.com/alvaroalea/QL_QsoundQprint_clone
Quantum Leap by SMFX & noice, released at #68kinside 2024. The best Sinclair QL (+ QSound) demo to date!
This ill-fated computer was Sinclair's attempt at a professional machine. Uses the 68008 which is a 68000 with an 8 bit data bus. 128K RAM, 7.5Mhz - but it's significantly slower than a regular 68000 at the same clock speed. 8 colors, 256x256 resolution. And yet this happens, when it's driven by skill, determination and awesome: https://youtu.be/MhlHV2YaCsc
My Sharp X68000 is still non-operational (lacks a PSU and keyboard/mouse, main reason: lazyness), but at #68kinside, binaries generated by the Free Pascal Human68k port were tested on a real X68000 for the first time. An X68000 XVI to be precise, under Human68k 3.02. They worked. Thanks to Codise!
A Reform laptop serving as router for a Macintosh IIcx, 10Base2 power! Setup by @vkoskiv, the Reform is apparently his daily driver! Spotted at #68kinside, cc: @mntmn

I went to Finland 🇫🇮 again, and found a concerned Croatian. (Bonefish)
