Remember how offended the right wing lugnuts were when #hillaryclinton said half of the #Trump supporters were in a "basket of deplorables"?

At least there was probably some small kernel of truth in that, given the racism, bigotry, etc. that permeates the #GOP. But here comes MTG calling #democrats pedophiles and #CBS just rolls with it, even though there isn't a shred of evidence to suggest that there are any more pedophiles among #Democrats than among #Republicans. Shame on CBS for not calling her out on this!

@enoch @Talia_christine Yes, Leslie Stahl and 60 Minutes gang are now right down there with Geraldo. I could understand it somewhat if it was a sharp, fearless, no-holds barred interview but no, they went with a fluff piece. God, what a way to seal your formerly stellar career and show legacy. "Platforming stupid" is never a good look for journalists.
