At this point the race has descended into a festival of me first me first me first me me me MEEEEEEE. It’s good.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that if you take a quick shower during an endurance race, there will be trouble going on when you return.
There’s always something amusing about watching a race in which the drivers are suffering with overheating and step out of their cars half-melted, while you yourself are somewhere where it’s literally freezing and you feel cold.

Mazepin voor het eerst op hoogste trede van podium sinds verlaten Formule 1
Nikita Mazepin heeft de seizoensopener van de Asian Le Mans Series op zijn naam geschreven. Het is zijn eerste overwinning sinds hij de Formule 1 heeft verlaten. De voormalig Haas-coureur deelde een LMP2-auto van 99 Racing met Ahmad Al Harthy en Louis Delétraz.
“Our driver is going to be interviewed for tv!”
“But we haven’t had time to stitch the official series’ logo onto our team overalls! What now?!”
“I have an idea! Nobody is going to notice that we improvised. No worries.”
It is pouring it down. Bibendum is probably the only one happy to be standing on that podium right now.
