It's not enough for #accessibility to have your text and background have sufficient contrast with each other. You also need to ensure that links have sufficient contrast with the rest of the text.
I have normal vision (with reading glasses). I just hit a site where the text is #4A4A4A on a whitish bg, and the links are #4C7B0D - a contrast ratio of 1.7 : 1! With no underlines, I entirely missed that there were links there at all; only the text saying "click here" clued me in. #a11y
