In a Telegram post, they claimed Visible limited their servers to only be accessible from the United States.

According to emails which I have reviewed, multiple professors have given extensions until Monday or Tuesday next week due to the Canvas outage.

The cause of the outage remains disputed, with 313 Team claiming responsibility and Canvas' owner stating they took down their systems in response to an earlier attack by Shiny Hunters.

A source familiar with the matter told me Walden University briefed their staff on the Canvas outage.

According to the source, Walden mentioned the incident had to do with a third party and related to geopolitical events.
The source said Iran and 313 Team were not mentioned by name.

Facebook posts in the Walden University Students Group confirm the university's Canvas system was down yesterday.
Posts also confirm Walden was one of the institutions impacted by Shiny Hunters' defacement of Canvas.
Press reporting suggests only a small number of institutions were impacted by the defacement, while over 8,000 were impacted by the outage.

Threat Intelligence people who follow this type of thing:
How creditable is 313 Team in your experience?
Have they claimed responsibility for attacks they didn't commit before?
Or are the attacks they claim responsibility for generally confirmed?

I genuinely am curious; I lack the expertise and information to critically evaluate 313 Team's claims.

I know there are people who have been tracking them and similar groups for a while, and who have a way better idea of their credibility.

I'm not accusing anyone of lying; it just seems Instructure's statements conflict with 313 Team's statements, and I'm trying to reconcile them.
