Wednesday morning in Thailand. Second morning of helping out with the #grandchildren as #2Son was drafted in to a residential school trip at v short notice. It is an enormous delight to spend time with them and to feel useful, too. Saddened, as always, by the thought that my own mum didn't live long enough to enjoy this glorious reward for the years of sleepless nights and thankless days otherwise known as 'motherhood'.
