#DungeonCrawl
Also: I like the pen and paper method of #2HDC: drawing the dungeon map as my party advanced. It's not perfect (the dungeons are rather linear).
I don't get the same feeling from the Dungeon deck method used in #WHAT. As the cards define moments rather than spaces.
If I could I would use real individual dungeon tiles (I did once or twice) but the pen and paper is a good compromise as it is simpler and takes much less space.
2- The #WHQ fight lasted 40mn with no rule checking vs 35mn with some rule checking and table consulting for #2HDC.
The WHQ was rather boring. The need for lots of littele dice to mark wounds was tedious.
The 2HDC was quite dynamic thanks to the use of Heroic Fight rules from Warriors Heroes Legends (fully compatible with 2HDC).

The end of #AmmisDawnguard 's return mini campain. #DungeonMap, legend and recap sheet.

#AmmisDawnguard finally made it! It was not easy. If not for her Star status she would not have survived multiple OD & OOF. Even with her Star Power, she had to use all 3 vials of Healing potions she found in the treasure room.

There's a lot more baddies now than the first time Ammis was there...

I was hoping to finish
#AmmisDawnguard 's return mini campain with a last game of #2HourDungeonCrawl. But it's Dungeonus Interruptus for IRL reasons... :(

7- #2HDC
The #dungeonMap (@gridmapper to draw the floor plan, Inkscape &The Gimp for image manipulation)
No epic fight, but the constant pressure of being chased by unidentified threats and the place itself being hostile. Just the kind of things that I expect from the cursed city of #Shadespire.
So a good game/story after all.
I could have saved myself the hassle of unpacking minis and terrain though... I could have used only pen & paper.
5- Very first action of the game: getting put Out Of the Fight by a trap! Saved by her Star Power but loosing 2 out of 4 dice in case of future need. Like... that second action with another PEF converting as another trap...
Anyway...
Found 3 shards of Shadeglass and a pair of Boots of Speed. Yeah! She's running from potential enemies. Wait... what? "cannot be used if wearing AC 6". Frak!!!
#2HDC
3- Actually, Ammis only met ONE #Chainrasp and a Rival Adventurer Party of 2 humans not inclined to mess with a Stormcast Eternal but not disposed to join her either.
Well, when she left there were 5 PEFs (Possible Enemy Force) on her trail but she escaped anyway.
I might plan another episode, with the same rules or others, to play a more heroic final.
#2HDC
2- I decided that "the Reason Why" for the encounter would be a variant of "Explore" consisting for Ammis of passing through all dungeon tiles that would be generated, to be able to draw a path from one edge of the grid paper sheet I use, to the other.
It could have been tricky but it
turned out that the dice were kind and it was not particularly difficult...
