That's the lawn sorted. It's not perfect but time to stop letting perfect be the enemy of the good.
It's been de-thatched (mostly, it's bloody hard work by hand), mown, aerated, over seeded, "grass start" fertilizer down and currently getting a good watering in while we watch the England Vs Italy six nations rugby.
It's taken about 4 hours, spread over 3 days, to get where we are and I'm just hoping the seed germinates nicely and it starts to improve the patchy, mossy mess we started with last week.
I'm battered and bruised because I'm way out of shape and in serious need of more exercise.
