Today begins another year, in which I hope not to be so silent, and to toot of mundane things that bring me pleasure, even if such are not of interest to anyone else.
Hence my last night of the year 2024 was spent amid noisy fireworks which the dog does not like. During the evening I used YouTube as cover, but when they reached crescendo at the midnight hour I opened the back door and sat on the step, with fireworks all around, and he snuggled and went straight to sleep.
