I started this #10CommandmentsOfMiniaturePainting thing with a Discord server reply when some people were talking about their painting habits. It's a lot more entertaining but not necessarily more legible. The latter is why I cut off a lot of the fat in the above.

6) do not paint when you don't feel like it. That's work, not hobby

7) don't compare your work to others' work. Compare it to your own earlier work

8) take pictures of wash, paint, ink, glue etc spills

9) don't drink paint water of too high toxicity

10) don't clean brushes in beverages too often
