ACTIVIDAD: «EL MURO DE LAS LLAVES VACÍAS»

Una actividad sencilla y potente puede tener mucho más impacto que una compleja. Aquí tienes una propuesta que es visual, participativa y genera conversación de forma inmediata.

Objetivo: Visualizar de forma física y emotiva el número de viviendas que están vacías, no por falta de habitantes, sino por la especulación de grandes fondos de inversión.

Concepto Sencillo: Crear un muro o panel lleno de llaves viejas que representan las viviendas vaciadas de la comunidad. Cada llave es un hogar perdido.

MATERIALES NECESARIOS (MUY SENCILLOS Y DE BAJO COSTE):

CÓMO SE DESARROLLA LA ACTIVIDAD (PASO A PASO):

Fase 1: La Investigación (Preparación)

· Investiga y recopila una lista de edificios o direcciones de tu ciudad/barrio que sepas o sospeches que están vacíos y son propiedad de fondos buitre, bancos o grandes tenedores. Esta información a veces está en plataformas como Fondos Buitre o en reportajes de prensa local.
· Asigna un número a cada una de estas viviendas identificadas (Ej: «Vivienda #1», «Vivienda #2″…).

Fase 2: La Acción (El Día del Evento)

Fase 3: La Participación (Involucrar a la gente)

· Invita a los transeúntes a que cojan una llave y la cuelguen en el muro, diciendo en voz alta: «Yo también quiero una vivienda».
· Ten folios y bolígrafos para que la gente escriba su testimonio («Pago el 60% de mi sueldo en alquiler», «Mis hijos no pueden independizarse») y lo pegue alrededor del muro.
· Reparte folletos sencillos con datos clave y con pasos concretos que la gente puede tomar (firmar una ILP, apoyar a una plataforma, etc.).

¿POR QUÉ ESTA ACTIVIDAD ES EFICAZ?

· Es Emotiva y Táctil: Una llave es un símbolo universal de «hogar». Ver cientos de ellas colgadas, inútiles, representa la paradoja de tener llaves que no abren puertas a nadie. Es mucho más potente que un gráfico o una estadística.
· Es Sencilla y de Bajo Coste: Cualquier grupo vecinal o colectivo puede organizarla sin necesidad de grandes recursos.
· Genera Conversación: La imagen es tan intrigante que la gente se para a preguntar. Es una oportunidad perfecta para explicar el problema de forma directa.
· Conecta lo Abstracto con lo Concreto: Los «fondos buitre» suenan lejanos, pero cuando la gente ve la dirección de un edificio que conocen, vacío y en manos de un fondo concreto, el problema se vuelve real y local.
· Es Visualmente Muy Potente para Redes Sociales: Una foto del «Muro de las Llaves Vacías» es un contenido perfecto para viralizar, con un mensaje claro y un hashtag como #MuroDeLasLlavesVacías o #LlavesSinHogar.

Variante para interiores: Si no se puede hacer en la calle, se puede hacer a menor escala en centros sociales, bibliotecas o universidades, y usar la foto del muro terminado como herramienta de presión en redes sociales dirigida a políticos locales.

Es una actividad que no solo denuncia, sino que construye comunidad alrededor de un símbolo común y muy poderoso.

Destroying Autocracy – 06 February 2025

Welcome to this week’s “Destroying Autocracy”.

It’s your source for curated news affecting democracy in the cyber arena with a focus on protecting democracy. That necessitates an opinionated Butlerian jihad against big tech as well as evangelizing for open-source and the Fediverse. Since big media’s journalism wing is flailing and failing in its core duty to democracy, this is also a collection of alternative reporting on the eternal battle between autocracy and democracy. We also cover the cybersecurity world. You can’t be free without safety and privacy.

DA comes out on Thursday and is updated through the end of day on Friday. Then we start over. So take your time in perusing it and check back in over the weekend.
