A React developer, trying to be more than just a react developer.

I've been trying to get my life together, but it only seems to make less sense day by day.

I try not to think about it, but I end up crying myself to sleep at night.

Why can't we have people that mean so much to us sometimes?

“Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.” They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away. You know who weren’t nice people? Resisters.”

How can you say someone needs help, when they're trying to behave as normal as they can.

Ever wondered how the HTML video tag has buttons to control the video, styled by default and doesn't need to be explicitly declared?

Shadow DOM lets you encapsulate inner child nodes of your custom HTML component providing a way to attach a hidden separated DOM to that element.

Using shadow DOM - Web Components | MDN

An important aspect of web components is encapsulation — being able to keep the markup structure, style, and behavior hidden and separate from other code on the page so that different parts do not clash, and the code can be kept nice and clean. The Shadow DOM API is a key part of this, providing a way to attach a hidden separated DOM to an element. This article covers the basics of using the Shadow DOM.

I just attended a virtual meet-up at 3 in the morning, which went till 6. I needed this. It felt soo good! I think I'll be doing more of this🎉

It's been a shitty week but life lessons got delivered!

I saw myself becoming the villain in someone else's story. Sometimes, forgiving the person who did you wrong, might give yourself another chance to let things go. You might be needing it more than them. It's hard for me to let things go, but I think I need to give myself another shot at this.

I always need a schedule to know what's coming and prepare myself. But I think I need to focus more on 3-6 days from now to make my 3yr plan work.

Day - 0 of picking up a hobby.

I've always liked to draw when I was a kid, but gave up when I got into highschool. Things got better two years ago, and I found my muse❤️ to draw again, but it was short-lived.

For the past few months, after changing my job, I've been interacting with my colleagues who draw and make time for it. Damn, they really are good at it! I couldn't wait to join them in the next sip and paint event.

Been distracted for a while, and I'm back!

Im thinking of posting once a day, from next Monday to change my routine.

I've still not figured out what my new routine would be, but I'll spend this weekend trying to figure that out.

[Note to self : you need this more than those uncertain trips!!!]

Hey, Aral, what’s this “institutional corruption” bullshit you keep harping on about? (Part 2 of 2)

Oh, I don’t know…

“When the company needed data to influence policymakers, according to The Guardian’s report, it also paid academics to publish research that would bolster its misleading economic claims about the company’s business model”
