Seems like a good day to get into #Eggy
I’ve heard a handful of jams and loved them all, but I could go for a deep dive. Should I start with this Spring Tour Selects album or are there any noteworthy jams/shows that I can’t afford to miss?
Favorite album by my favorite (pre-Phish) band came in the mail today. Taylor Goldsmith is one of the best songwriters around. Can’t recommend Dawes enough.
Last night was my seventh #Phish show and my favorite so far, by a pretty wide margin. Sadly I’m back at home but sending vibes to the crew for more of the same for the rest of the weekend. I’m going to need some relistens, but that Ruby Waves might surpass Oak Mountain Carini as the best jam I’ve seen live. They’ve still got it, folks.
Buc-ee Beaver is definitely a wook
Happy to report that Free had some extra stank on it. Liftoff achieved

This song sounds exactly like “Lord I Lift Your Name on High.” If you were a Christian kid in the 90s maybe you know what the hell I’m talking about.
The arena rock finale of David Bowie always deserves a lightning storm backdrop. Fingers crossed for no weather delays, but it sure made for an epic finish to the first set.

Quick Huntsville night 1 review:
Great show and a super fun tour opener. Lots of shredding and face-melting peaks. Sunset YEM was magic. Could barely hear Mike for much of the first set but they got him turned up eventually. Not the tightest show, but I don’t mind when they bring that sort of energy and craft a setlist full of classics. At set break the whole place was buzzing for 2001 and they delivered! Orion is an awesome venue and the vibes were on point. Ready for night 2!
