AnarchoNinaWritesNo I mean the thing is the GOP was a fascist party before Trump; and if you don't math that in, you probably have a hard time understanding why Trump (and crucially, his cult of personality) was able to "transform" the American right into a fascist movement. The truth is, he didn't have to. This was a movement in search of a Hitler, not a Hitler in search of a movement. He is, after all, an actor; albeit one I find unconvincing.
