Insistence on perfection is a tool of oppression used by the white supremacist patriarchy. Philly inside, Indy outside. Quilter. Scientist.

The Grinch

@jovikowi @inarticulatequilter I wouldn't start with a pattern this fiddly if you give it a try! But I enjoy it because I'm shit at 1/4" seams, LOL.

@inarticulatequilter You are really making me blush! 🤗

Y'know, FPP just makes sense to my brain *and* I don't have to be good at a 1/4" seam for it to work. 😂

Wondering if anyone associated with @ufwupdates would be interested in this quilt?

I've made too many quilts during the pandemic and am hoping to donate this one for a fundraiser, to display or even just if someone at the account loves Jorts and Jean as much as I do and would like to give this quilt a home

DM me for details

Repeat COVID-19 vaccinations elicit antibodies that neutralize variants, other viruses: People who were repeatedly vaccinated for COVID-19 — initially receiving shots aimed at the original variant, followed by boosters and updated vaccines targeting variants — generated antibodies capable of neutralizing a wide range of SARS-CoV-2 variants and even some distantly related coronaviruses.

@inarticulatequilter I re-downloaded this app so I could come here to tell you how spectacular this quilt is, from idea to completion. SO GOOD, D. Your ideas and execution are always an inspiration.
@anderson_jon Dooooo it.
@inarticulatequilter I see how active you are here and it makes my heart sing to imagine you found new community. Of course I'll understand if you don't want to try again somewhere else. Also, please reply by email because I'll probably forget to check notifications here. 😂
@inarticulatequilter That's when I found you (I think)! Other than sporadic activity to keep my account from being repurposed, I bounced from Twitter last November. I grieved, tried to get used to this place, and then just petered out. Bluesky fell into my lap a couple weeks ago and it is lighting up all the same parts of my brain as Twitter did (for better or for worse, LOL). I'm trepidatious but hopeful. I logged in here today specifically to ask if you'd like a Bluesky invite...?

@sentynel @stavvers Ohh, this seems like a good thread to mention my wife's art work "Experiencing Epilepsy", about how she feels the universe is exploding when she has a tonic clonic seizure (also mostly controlled by medication these days, and she /does not/ miss them :) )
