I <3 pandoc. the desktop epub readers are terrible, so I pandoc to org mode and read books in org:
pandoc <input.epub> -f epub -t org --wrap=none -o <output.org>

(I then use emacs wrapping if needed)

After 1hr of use I used up "a month" of AI tokens with phoenix.new. I couldn't find instructions on how I managed that or how to avoid it. Guess that was a waste of $20, since basically none of the code works either...
i always thought it weird when i met cis guys who are adamant they absolutely must have kids but are not open to the idea of adoption

because in my view they're just making plans for someone else's body

Spent the last 2 days getting a 24yr old printer to work to print W-2's for $WORK, because the brand new W-2 software only spoke ancient PCL to print.

I heard last week that the physics teacher of the daughter of one of my colleagues told the daughter that girls who do their nails don’t do physics. Sigh.
