Teryl's Tales of Whim~The children squealed.
I was familiar with this level of delight, I'd been preparing myself for it for weeks.
Gifts and stocking-stuffers were a little light this year, but they were young enough that any toys and candy still sufficed.
I was not prepared for what was causing the additional squeals. No, I wasn't AT ALL prepared for the dragon curled up in the otherwise empty fireplace.
"Can they keep me?" the dragon asked hopefully.
