He wants them released but done so in a way that requires redaction OR otherwise gives a level of control to the release to the Administrative Branch about what gets released and how fast.

From this, I wouldn't be shocked if the bill calling for the release of all the files minimally redacted ended up failing the vote with another bill essentially calling for maximum redaction to actually be what gets passed.

I personally see these numbers as fairly meaningless. If January 6th wasn't enough to exile the man from politics and absolutely destroy any chance at re-election then these low poll numbers will be effectively meaningless.

January 6th should have been below rock-bottom for a President. COVID in 2020 should have been rock-bottom... the fact neither were, indicates we actually have not yet found rock-bottom.

I personally find that gravely concerning for the future of the nation and the world.

This shift to apparently supporting open source no matter who is involved or what their goals, positions, or markets are is an absolute slap in the face to everyone who has bought a #Framework up to this point to support right to repair & choice

When judges and other political officials end up dead because they feel emboldened by rhetoric of the White House, we'll have the moral authority for not having called it out because we denounce all political violence on all sides and never point out when anyone is actively promoting violence at all!

Some people of small minds struggle to do more than emphatically denounce all political violence as if it's a high horse of morality to simply be entirely against it.

Only to be offended when you point out all of the political leadership for the Democrats have disavowed and denounced political violence. So why does the President of the United States and his officials continue to amp up rhetoric, call judges terrorists, demonize Democrats, and encourage
all this violence.

Don't make baseless claims or generate conspiracy. This person didn't want to defend their statement because they have no factual basis to stand on and simply claimed victimhood and ended the conversation, that's fine. It doesn't change they do not have any facts to back their words
