Why does nobody make PDAs anymore? :( No, phones are NOT a proper replacement >:
My daughter, who has had a degree in computer science for 25 years, posted this observation about ChatGPT on Facebook. It's the best description I've seen:
Even iTerm2 now has AI built-in... Well, at least you have to activate it manually first... 😐
Gotta love Google... >_<
<= That said, not being able to make a backup of your data is a drawback. If the batteries give out, or the device itself, you lose everything. Other than that, I would start using these PDAs in a heartbeat.

Not being able to go online actually seems like a *benefit* nowadays. Think about it. No ads! No unwanted updates! Your data isn't "shared" with corporations! No popups for cookies or newsletters! No intrusive phone calls/messages! Just a thing that does what you want, when you want it. Bliss!

We’ve been doing some cleaning and purging here at Chez Lefebvre and stumbled across a relic.

"New Chrome available"... That just means more junk I didn't ask for, and more extensions being disabled. I'll wait a bit...
It's unfortunate that Gemini is both the name of a protocol and the name of some crappy AI thing. Googling for "gemini dreamhost" does not produce a lot of useful results. :(
