so this tree provides like 7 bucks a year worth of environmental benefits, but it's actually 75 because every year it provides exactly 67 dollars and 57 cents of aesthetic value, whatever that's supposed to mean

FINALLY an audition performance I'm actually proud of, instead of one where it feels kinda off and I try to convince myself it went ok after the fact. This was the scene done *properly*! God I feel alive

I think internal monologues (at least mine) aren't in full on sentences, you just perceive them that way. Kind of like how your brain auto-corrects the colour of of shadows, or how you didn't notice the duplicated "of" in this sentence. It's an illusion that takes extra mental effort to turn into real words.
Would explain how thoughts can be clear as day in your head but hard to articulate on the spot, or how words can get stuck on the tip of your tongue, etc.
