@tvaziri It’s kind of like where I think Cinefex failed once a lot fx went digital. Their articles afterwards consisted mostly of this so-and-so shot was done in in Maya (or something), and didn’t or couldn’t really get into the complexity of it all, because it was just too complex to fit on a printed page.

@tvaziri I know what you’re saying in all this (and really appreciate the fight you are in) but that blue superman suit against a blue screen gives me the Willies. Much of blue/green screen ends up getting roto’d in the end either way. But why do you think they didn’t use green for this scene at least? I’m a comp artist, with not much on-set experience. Help me understand.

@atpfm maybe I’m missing something John, but why do you need an off switch on your speakers? Can’t you just use the mute button on your keyboard? PS I joined mastodon just to post this, but I’m a very long time listener to atp and kinda looking forward to using a new social app that’s maybe not filled with garbage. Wish me luck!
