The point is not that they aren't dangerous, because again, you literally don't need 51% of the people to install a fascist regime; but there are a lot of people, spending a lot of money, for the clear purpose of convincing you to give up, that the fascists have already won, that the people around you agree with them and that you are in fact, the weirdo and outsider.
