The point is not that they aren't dangerous, because again, you literally don't need 51% of the people to install a fascist regime; but there are a lot of people, spending a lot of money, for the clear purpose of convincing you to give up, that the fascists have already won, that the people around you agree with them and that you are in fact, the weirdo and outsider. This is a principle component of most fascist propaganda campaigns and it's complete and utter horse pucky. It's rich nazi weirdos

At the end of every single one of these "grass roots," "populist" campaigns to *check notes* protect capitalism, capitalists, patriarchal power, white supremacy and the right for cracker nazis to meet out hot death on a whim, is literally some rich nazi with a checkbook. Every single one. Are there rubes? Sure. Are there pigfucking monsters who just agree with them? Sure. But they're losers, cranks, weirdos, absolutely not "everyone around you"

They paying to look like a movement. It's rich ppl

@AnarchoNinaWrites
Ever notice how pretty much every populist / fascist you come across you can probably google a picture of them posing with fascist grift fixer Nigel Farage?
It's a small club, but with a lot of money at stake.
@AnarchoNinaWrites What is your definition of a Fascist? Because it has become a generic term?
@Probertd8 @AnarchoNinaWrites For starters, i recommend Wikipedia. If any words are unclear, feel free to read the linked article for it. The definition is pretty clear.

Fascism - Wikipedia

@Probertd8 @AnarchoNinaWrites a fascist is someone who endorses this ideology, ofc

@Probertd8 @AnarchoNinaWrites Merriam-Webster and Wikipedia both have very solid descriptions.

I had to explain the modern re-emergence of fascism to my dad at one point, and those can help if you have trouble summing it up.

Jonathan Freedland asks what the word fascism means in the 2020s.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I'm following you for two reasons.
1. The content of the above toot.
2. "Horse pucky".

Not neccessarily in that order.
Regards.
