@danirabbit I dunno; I'm pretty sure the promise of capitalism is that if you work hard and smart enough, and produce goods and services for people, then when they exchange money for what you create, you can accrue wealth legitimately.
I've discovered the same, to be honest. All contractors I've had to supervise relatively closely.

Ah, I see. I'm not sure if those are strictly anti-science policies, really. The graph posted here is about web views in the sciences for non-US only; I'd be curious to see this for global views.
I'm rather in favor of reforming a lot of the funding pipelines, project selection, and visa process.
