Here watching my mom slowly die in hospice. But. My dad pulled me aside to discuss things. Which included making sure to tell me I needed to lose weight. Lolololol. Thank goodness I don’t care what he thinks about my appearance anymore. He does approve of my teeth, he says.

There is no decent end of life care in America’s healthcare system. The closest to decency is having family taking you in (but what a stress on that family member). This is horrifying. Absolutely horrifying and I’m growing angrier by the hour by the day by the week by the month.
