X-Files 📁 and beyond...
That early run of The X-Files really is hard to beat. Seasons 1–3 have that perfect balance where the mythology is still mysterious, the “monster-of-the-week” episodes feel genuinely eerie, and the Mulder/Scully dynamic hasn’t become overly self-aware yet.

Belfast has a strong haunted reputation mainly because of its old buildings, graveyards, and layered history of conflict and industry. Over time, stories about strange sightings and unexplained events have built up around places like former prisons, Victorian streets, and historic cemeteries. Friar's Bush Graveyard on Stranmillis Road is the oldest Christian burial site in Belfast.

In the The X-Files episode “Fallen Angel” (Season 1), Fox Mulder investigates a UFO crash that the military is trying to cover up. As he digs deeper, he meets a paranoid man who believes aliens are secretly watching and tracking people.

Area 51 is a secretive U.S. military base where the government tests aircraft and other technology. It is located in the Mojave Desert region of southern Nevada, about 80–100 miles (130–160 km) northwest of Las Vegas. It is believed the UFO said to have crashed in Roswell in 1947 was taken there to be studied.

Nike Air was developed from an idea by aerospace engineer Marion Franklin Rudy, who created gas-filled cushioning membranes in the 1970s. Rudy had worked in aerospace engineering and also for NASA, which is why people sometimes connect the technology to NASA, but the cushioning system itself was independently developed and licensed to Nike.

The photo was taken in 2006 in Belfast, just off Ormeau Road along the River Lagan.
