Interested in Single Source Publishing (SSP)?

I.e. having one file format like Markdown or XML and generate multiple other formats from it.

SSP is somehow big in scholarly publishing in order to have additional machine readable formats beyond the PDF.

Or anything like prompt karaoke?
Is there already a genre like reverse prompt engineering record cover images with Midjourney?

> Is there a way for A.I. to empower labor unions or worker-owned coöperatives?

@ntnsndr Good question Ted Chiang is asking. Is there already a discussion on that topic?

@rahmstorf Thanks for pointing me to "Solar" by Ian McEwan and "Die Welt kippt" by von Tschischwitz. Read both of them.

The latter helped me to imagine better what will happen. At the same time it left me with demotivation that the #solarpunk movement has enough time to grow.

Drei Anregungen.

The smartest analysis that I've read so far of what #ChatGPT is and should be for us:

"ChatGPT Is a Blurry JPEG of the Web" by Science-Fiction author Ted Chiang.

@mfenner This is the Docker project I've been tinkering with to automatically build references from links.

https://github.com/zotero/translation-server

Wrote a script that feeds all links in a HedgeDoc into the translation server and tries to convert them to a bibliography. Works kind of OK.

https://collaborating.tuhh.de/-/snippets/528

The idea stems from a Learning Circle I co-hosted: I wanted the links that everybody put into the HedgeDoc during our sessions to be converted.
