@codytherudeguy @frameworkcomputer don't they have some development arm boards or is that not optimized for public consumption. I thought I'd heard about some framework arm Dev board, was in the context of matching Apples battery life performance.
@codytherudeguy @frameworkcomputer Apple controls both the Hardware and OS. Thats how they achieve such great battery life. Framework produces hardware that is compatible with multiple different OS's but not optimized for anyone and I think that is the advantage Apple has. Instill choose framework eventhough I admit Apple is due credit for battery life achievements.
@SethBrown "where windows calls to mars before it..." 🤣🤣🤣 I almost sneezed my drink. Thank you and yes, I know it well...
@itsfoss I'm glad that the option is simply turned off by default with the ability to enable it via CLI or with Tweaks. The author makes a decent use case argument and I don't know how many people would actually benefit but it seems solid. If this was simply to make Gnome more Mac OS like I'd simply question why? I just feel like if the former rationale was the reason, everybody has better things to work on. If this helps solve a real problem, OK. Not a big deal.
@nixCraft so I think the headquarters for Linux and FOSS should be a giant Penguin. The Indians have the right idea 😉
@arstechnica of the many design choices they make that I don't like, changing the version numbering convention is probably simpler to follow so good on Apple for that.
@arstechnica OK. I love science but I'm wondering about the coincidence of The Last of Us coming back on for another season... any correlation there 😅 🤔
@OpenComputeDesign glad you fixed. 👍🏾
@OpenComputeDesign what does the tracert output look like. Might be able to see where the packet is stopping and start troubleshooting there...
@nixCraft priceless 🤣 !
