@mdhughes just make sure not to interrupt it when copying your settings at first boot, or else you'll find yourself with the catch 22 or "connect to wifi or network cable" on a machine that stops recognizing wifi and also has no ethernet port.

@hk The thing with Big Tech is that it usually isn't. I think tech enthusiast as a term can safely preclude that. I am also fine with "geeks" or "whales" being a term reserved for big tech over-consumers.

I know AI plugins and plugin managers are still considered in vogue for #neovim, but have any #plugin makers or managers taken a stance against AI?

After trying LazyVim I wanted to get away from some aspects of it, and JuneGunn's vim-plug (which I used to use all the time) appears to be sponsored by an AI terminal. I may try packer, but any other plugin managers I should look at?

@briankrebs as a certified hater, one thing i will give apple is their insistence on quality. Even preferring to leave out quality of life features rather than implement a half baked one.

And if there's a term for the present state of GenAI, it is "half-baked"
