Here’s something that Twitter expats are not really understanding, not using hashtags on Mastodon is the reason your engagement is underwhelming. Mastodon doesn’t have a search function nor an algorithm to surface inflammatory nonsense all the time. Unless you tag your post it’s only going to reach your followers at the time of posting.
