tanteLogged into LinkedIn for the first time in forever and the feed there is more depressing than any amount of doomscrolling.
I never really cared about the weird LinkedIn speak, it’s whatever but everything on there right now is generated AI junk.
It’d be nice to be able to really network with coworkers and adjacent people, especially to look for work that wouldn’t mandate AI but I guess that can’t happen
I totally understand being locked into shitty platforms to talk to specific groups of people and whatnot but like if you “need” to use Facebook to talk to your wife then I think your issues are self inflicted at that point
Endless Screamingthe best thing i can tell you to do is pick a way to help people that won't totally overwhelm you and just do that. start small. you don't need to witness everything bad that happens to be effective. scream whenever you need to but don't make it your whole deal (that is what i am for)

We rightly understand these are violations of human rights. There have been hard-fought battles to protect people against these ills. In some cases it’s *still* an issue (asbestos is all over even now!).
I feel the same way about slop. *It’s a hazard.*
