Had a few nice work velocommutes this week. Was nice to note there were no major obstructions on my Monday route after a wet weekend. Later in the week I had the opportunity to go a usually trafficky way at off peak times and it was really relaxed… at 30°C and humid as heck it kinda had to be!

Was awesome riding past all the traffic on the way to work today. I had unfortunately forgotten to pack both my toiletries and safeties. #biketooter

Woke up last night to the smell of smoke, worried the house might be on fire. Found out riding to work there was a smoky haze over the whole city! Hard to tell from this photo, but it’s usually clearer. #biketooter

Rode home on the main road, which I don’t usually do. The foot path is horrendously narrow and back streets have a steep as heck hill. Delighted to report that I didn’t even get beeped! #biketooter

Once again, ignoring the afternoon forecast for storms and riding to work was the correct decision today. It did end up so incredibly windy though that I thought I’d get blown off the bridge. #biketooter
