how can you exclude a decent proportion of lesbians from supposedly exclusively lesbian spaces and continue calling it a lesbian space
he/him lesbiansare important
andbeautiful
stopshaming them for expressing their identity differently
im findinganother instance
he/him lesbians are such a rich part of our culture and our history
if they/them lesbians are allowed on here why arent he/him lesbians? bc obviously you dont like nb lesbians if you dont allow he/him lesbians so why are you only targeting he/him lesbians?

To exclude he/him lesbians is to make a supposedly exclusively lesbian space unsafe for the very people it is intended for.

Not only is this exclusion offensive and damaging, it is ahistorical.

I am not good at expressing the thoughts in my head very clearly but if you believe he/him lesbians are men and refuse to recognise them you are actively shaming them for being gnc and taking away safe spaces from them because you have decided pronouns = gender.

anyway if a space doesnt include he him lesbians it has failed as a lesbian space; he him lesbians are a part of lesbian and culture that cannot be ignored and the fact that it happened here is hugely disappointing :/
in other news if anyone has an instance they like that will support all lesbians.................... let me know
@shinylesbian Also I'm looking for another instance for my NSFW posts though, so feel free to give me suggestions about LGBT friendly, pronoun-inclusive instances that allow NSFW.

Hi pals, seems like I'll be abandoning instance unless I get a response from the admin stating that the sentence "Not be a man (implying no masculine pronouns e.g. he/him)" was a mistake and that they are sorry it was phrased so offensively.

You can find me over at @shinylesbian (btw, berries is a great instance and very inclusive, just bear in mind that it's 13+ so not a great place to go if you mainly post NSFW)

anyone who needs a place to go after finding out about this is super super welcome to come over to berries if you would feel safer here!! i know we can be strict about nsfw and a lot of people's lesbiab alts were 18+, but we're fine with 18+ accounts here as long as they're locked and nsfw posts are unlisted or followers only. most of our mods are wlw and very few of us are cis.
im so sorry for all the people who weren't aware of that rule, the worst part of it for me is that it was added late and it's so. insidious. you join a space thinking that it's going to be safe for you and that it's a decent online lesbian space which god knows there aren't enough of and then surprise, it's not safe after all
pronouns are just another aspect of presentation send post
